Prorated based on the service fee in increments of 10 minutes.
Most therapy appointments will not be scheduled or held for longer than 50-60 minutes, however on some occasions a longer appointment can better support therapy goals. Such appointments will be planned ahead of time, scheduled, and can extend up to 30 minutes beyond the 50-60 minute hour (a maximum time of 90 minutes for the appointment).
Examples:
10 minute extension of General Individual Therapy ($120) adds fee of $20 for $140 total.
15 minute extension (rounds up to 20 minutes) of same adds fee of $40 for $160 total.
30 minute extension of same adds fee of $60 for $180 total.
Letter Writing Services:
Letter writing services are charged based on the $120 service hour and are prorated in increments of 10 minutes.

Any letters requiring updated evaluation of diagnosis (e.g. ADHD), a referral will be provided for a provider of psychological evaluation​ who can complete also the letter for academic accommodations.

If you need a type of letter or form completed not related to the above, provide details on what is needed. Trailhead Therapy will determine if qualified to complete such a letter/form and will provide a referral if unable and if a qualified provider is known.

Trailhead Therapy does not provide letters for Emotional Support Animals, Short/Long-Term Disability Benefits
Insurance
Trailhead Therapy is not paneled with insurances and is considered an out-of-network provider. A Superbill can be provided to clients for reimbursement from insurance.
Affordability
Trailhead Therapy understands that therapy needs to be affordable and that there are numerous financial barriers which make therapy affordable. To balance my own need to earn a living with making affordable therapy more accessible, I use Open Path to provide a sliding scale for qualifying clients and my goal is to dedicate 10-25% of my clinical time to supporting clients who need more affordable therapy. To benefit from this sliding scale service, interested clients or prospective clients must join Open Path as a member and complete the necessary documentation before Trailhead Therapy can schedule appointments based on the sliding scale.
Trailhead Therapy is currently not accepting new Open Path clients.
By joining Open Path and paying a one-time membership fee of $65, you will have access during your lifetime membership to work with Trailhead Therapy or any other Open Path therapist as long as there is a financial need.
